After Generic Acetaminophen Recall, Stores Pull Bottles From Shelves
On Nov. 9, the U.S. Food and Drug (FDA) informed the public to a recall by the Perrigo Company, a drug manufacturer based in Allegan, Michigan. The recall is for 383 lots of 500-milligram acetaminophen caplets that were manufactured and distributed under various generic or store brands. An estimated 11 million bottles are affected by the recall.
