Cooperation with IBM underlines high service competency

Graz, June 9, 2009 – Onepoint Software, the leading provider of commercial open source project and portfolio management (PPM) in Europe has launched its SaaS product Onepoint Project On Demand. Both the Group Edition, the out-of-the-box solution for small teams, and the highly configurable Enterprise Edition are available as Onepoint Project On Demand (http://www.onepoint-project.com/on-demand). With this new product Onepoint provides project teams with even more flexibility and facilitates the entry into professional, team-oriented project management through little setup costs. At the same time Onepoint can – as an IBM Advanced Partner – host its SaaS solution in the new high tech IBM datacenter near Frankfurt, Germany.

SaaS completes Product Portfolio

Close cooperation with customers and prospects regarding the development of its PPM solutions is a major focus at Onepoint. The ease of use and the close orientation on everyday project work is not only indicated by the number of downloads of the open source edition. Onepoint also gets reassured by many inquiries of customers who after a first test with the open source edition want to extend the number of users or intend to upgrade to enterprise-level functionality.

The web-based project leadership software is especially focused on project-driven organizations that are working with geographically distributed project teams. Customers like the extensive project planning and controlling features that also include resource planning and “what if” scenarios. The practical aspects of Onepoint Project are also emphasized via its multilingual user interface and its compatibility to the widely used project planning software Microsoft Project.
