TDA Goes Live Today: Skrivanek Cofounds Data Association

Worldwide, May 11, 2009: Skrivanek Group is proud to be at the forefront of what is going to be one of the most important innovations in the translation industry.

The future of translation starts today with the launch of TDA (TAUS Data Association), a worldwide membership of 47 top global companies (Cisco, Microsoft, INTEL, Skrivanek etc.), in which all members contribute, sharing their translation memories and glossaries. The combined wealth of knowledge, which all members can draw on, is immeasurable. This will benefit not only Skrivanek as a Language Service Provider, but even more so its customers who make use of translation and localization services.

Skrivanek’s experience, in compiling and being able to employ our own terminology data bases and glossaries for many fields of specialization and languages, means that we were one of the first to recognize the imminent need for this association.
