Raytheon Anschuetz Singapore started operation on March 1, 2009

Raytheon Anschuetz Singapore started operation on March 1, 2009

Raytheon Anschütz announced the establishment of the new subsidiary Raytheon Anschuetz Singapore Pte Ltd. With the new company, Raytheon Anschütz expands its sales and service activities in Southeast Asia. It started operation on March 1, 2009.

Singapore is one of the largest ports in the world and the focal point for ships traffic in Asia, thus a location with high demand for after sales service. To satisfy the needs of ship owners whose vessels operate in Southeast Asia, Raytheon Anschuetz Singapore comes with a large spare parts depot and experienced technicians for service. Being employees of a Raytheon Anschütz company the technicians can benefit from the direct access to the know-how of the manufacturing company.

“The new service center is an important step to secure best possible customer support in this region”, says Jan-Christoph Lötzsch, Managing Director of Raytheon Anschuetz Singapore. “Our skilled and experienced service engineers are trained to take care of our wide range of navigation and communication systems for ships”. This includes radars, electronic charts, gyro compasses, autopilots, steering systems, radio stations, VDR and complete integrated bridge systems. In addition, Raytheon Anschuetz Singapore provides support to ship owners and shipyards for newbuilding projects in Southeast Asia with a particular focus on the offshore shipping industry and European ship owners.

The new subsidiary is a further step on Raytheon Anschütz’ path to follow the markets and customer demands: Since 2006, Raytheon Anschütz Shanghai takes care of shipbuilding in China, and now Raytheon Anschuetz Singapore offers high level of service and support for the shipping industry in Southeast Asia.

Raytheon Anschuetz Singapore continues the successful business of Patronics (S) Pte Ltd, who brings a lot of experience as a sales and service partner for Raytheon Anschütz since many years.
