At the leading IT fair CeBIT 2006 the MapChart GmbH has introduced a new interactive atlas based on the new MapChart WebPort technology for vector based web-mapping solutions.

Users and visitors can benefit from the constantly growing collection of geostatistical information from various regions of the world in the MapChart EarthAtlas with an emphasis on topics like demography, economy, health and environment. The included data has been edited content wise and geographical for a more convenient visualization, therefore an increasing pool of ready-to-use maps are available.

For companies and organizations with a need for a flexible and fast web-mapping solution the MapChart GmbH can integrate customized WebPorts for specific cases. The applet can be completely branded according to the appropriate corporate design and can use any vector based maps as background mapping data.
