The entertainment industry is experiencing a shift from the old model where celebrities are being discovered by talent agencies, to the new model where Stars are being crowdsourced, discovered, supported and nurtured by direct relationships with their Fans - enabled by computing technologies including social networks, artificial intelligence and marketing/advertising technologies.
