ACUMEN was the general sponsor of the Forum «Security and Safety Technologies» this year. The organizers, Reed Exhibitions, are expanding cooperation with Acumen on an extensive range of events in the whole world.

Two main focuses were highlighted by ACUMEN during the February Forum «Security and Safety Technologies-2009» in Moscow.
First, the presentation of five new products and the latest development means the advancement of ACEMEN. The wide range of Acumen product line was presented by a double deck, 100-square-meter stand and was located at the main entrance of the 8th pavilion. Second, ACUMEN was awarded the title «Company of the Year» by the prestigious award «Recognition» in security market. In addition, Marketing Manager Alena Polovtseva won the title of «Miss Brightness» in the industry beauty contest «Miss Security».

Acumen’s stand not only addressed the intelligence in comfortably communicating with all, but also illustrated the growth of the company in recent years. New ACUMEN products were introduced at the stand. Best seller 16 channels DVRs Ai-D163 and Ai-D167 with a built-in monitor play the important role of compact video surveillance systems. New 4-channel portable DVR Ai-D243 with compression technology H.264. Its unique black-and-red Ai color and A4 paper size with 4.5 cm thickness leads the design trend in video surveillance. Another new model Ai-iD is a hybrid CCTV computer with built-in 16 channels video. Ai-iD includes touch screen, and enables one touch setup. Numerous positive comments sparked new megapixel IP-camera. Ai-IC88 supports high-speed formation of HD-image, increasing the performance of IP-video surveillance system.

Inquisitive media was excited about the comments from the company. The latest 4-channel DVR, Ai-D243 for medium to large-scale video surveillance systems is available now. Its dimensions are smaller than an A4 paper with a thickness only 4.5 cm.
