"The transmitter unit measures the level of oil inside the tank. This information is the relayed wirelessly to the receiver unit, where it is displayed via an easy to read LCD screen. However, the Watchman Alarm's transmitter unit additionally includes an audible alarm function.
“So in the event of a sudden and unexpected drop in the level of fuel inside the tank, the alarm is activated. This provides an immediate alert and allows preventative action to be taken - even if that is something as simple as switching on an external light."
The Watchman Alarm will be available for despatch from 1 March 2009 and is suitable for most single skin and bunded oil tanks, storing biodiesel, diesel and heating oil.
