Gather to open at Tarpon Point in early October
Building on the phenomenal success they have brought to Cape Harbour Marina, the people behind Fathoms Restaurant & Bar and The French Press are set to launch a new dining concept at beautiful Tarpon Point Marina. Offering breakfast, lunch, dinner, a full bar and picnic lunches for boaters, Gather is expected to open in early October and is currently hiring for several positions, including line cooks, servers and bartenders.Benjamin Voisin, Valeria Zanella Voisin, and Meredith and Timothy Hoffman, partners in HGH LLC, who travelled from the Caribbean to open their popular Cape Harbour restaurants, are proud to continue their collaboration with the launch of Gather.
Fathoms General Manager Kathy Stephan and The French Press Manager Sue McCormick, along with Jeremy Vincent, Fathoms’ famed senior mixologist, helped spearhead the Gather concept and will oversee its operations. Fathoms Executive Chef Fabrice Deletrain and Chef Benjamin Voisin will develop the menu and take an active role in training, hiring and kitchen management.
Gather will offer indoor seating for 67 diners, plus several tables outdoors. Diners can look forward to healthy, organic-option breakfasts to fuel their day, plus the European-style pastries that have made The French Press a foodie mainstay. Lunch and dinner will introduce a new concept in the Cape with an international gastro-bar menu and craft cocktails.
Chef Ben Voisin said, “Gather is a culmination of our team’s desire, passion and drive to develop a new concept that combines the best of The French Press and Fathoms to achieve a unique waterfront dining experience. This wouldn’t have happened without our talented team and the support of Tarpon Point.”
