He for She Heroes Award and Charity Ball
Gender Based Violence does not only violate human rights but also destroys the bedrock of every nation. Okwuí Mask Scheme is working with survivors of Gender Based Violence and governments across the globe to find an end to this violent crime.
In 2017, as part of our work to eliminate gender based violence and promote gender equality, we would be launching a laudable family and gender positive initiative, “He for She Heroes Award” in London on Saturday, 14th October 2017. The initiative is the brain child of Okwui Mask Scheme (OMS) in collaboration with Women's Rights Watch International (WRWI) an aspiring global women rights awareness newsletter/magazine.
This extraordinary charity award ball in the heart of Whitehall in London, would be held on Saturday, 14th of October, 2017 at the Royal Horseguards and One Whitehall, London. It kicks off at 6.30pm.
With over 200 expected attendees, the goal is to recognize men and or organizations who work tirelessly for the empowerment of women in today’s society.
This engaging and interactive evening would showcase couture fashion, provide a luxurious fundraising evening while providing an effective networking environment.
The charity ball will feature a variety of fun events including live music and performances, drinks reception, three course meal with wine, live and silent auctions, dance floor and networking.
The standard cost of evening will be £75.00 admission or £100 for VIP admissions. 100% of the proceedsless expenses will go to Okwuí Mask Scheme’s current projects.
