Architectural Guide Münster / Münsterland
With the help of 170 buildings and projects, the Architectural Guide Münster / Münsterland describes the latest architectural history of the Westphalian city and its region, since 2006. Many of the objects presented in this volume are prize winners from competition proceedings, others are awarded architectural prizes, and several of which are renowned nationally and internationally. They all testify to a lively and successful discourse between architects and builders that goes far beyond regional architecture and cultural building requirements. The presentation of the selected buildings is arranged geographically, the readers are guided from the inner city via the Aasee and the port to the city districts and from there to the Borken, Coesfeld, Steinfurt, and Warendorf boroughs. Contributions by different authors on the internationally known "Skulptur Projekte", the development of Münster's city harbour, and some historical buildings give insight to the city's background and context. Jürgen Kehrer, author of the German "Wilsberg" TV series, saw the city as a film set. Introduction to the architecture history, with a particular view on the development since the postwar modern and a tour of the old town round off the picture. Münster has never lost the qualities of a "European city" in the dialogue between citizens, politics, and administration: the historical centre is readable, streets and squares shape public spaces, and inner-city functions are closely interwoven.
The BDA Münster – Münsterland, is the publisher of the volume and would like to document the development of Münster's architecture for travellers and locals, as well as for architects and developers.

Flying Panels. How Concrete Panels Changed the World
During the second half of the twentieth century countless concrete panels sailed through the skies: not only physically from factory to construction site, or from country to country, but also figuratively. The flying concrete panel could be found all over the world in countless pictures, on posters, in cartoons and movies and even as toys or theatre and opera sets. Their symbolism made them an emblem for the promise of
