Raytheon Anschütz NSC ECDIS fulfils newest IMO Performance Standards

On January 1st, 2009 the new ECDIS Standard MSC.232(82), IEC 61147 Ed.3 has come into force. Each new installed ECDIS has to comply with the new IMO Performance Standards. As a reliable partner for ship owners worldwide, Raytheon Anschütz of course has implemented the modifications in due time. A new software version ensures that NSC ECDIS includes all modifications as required by the new rules.
In addition to the required functions, Raytheon Anschütz ECDIS offers a variety of advanced functions to enable all time safe and comfortable navigation at sea. Highlights are a high-accuracy track control in combination with Raytheon Anschütz autopilot, the autopilot remote control and an integrated data management to all other navigational instruments. In order to contribute to optimised bridge ergonomics, a standardised man machine interface leads to the reduction of operating controls and keys as well as to the avoidance of screen overload.

Raytheon Anschütz GmbH is a subsidiary of the Raytheon Company, Waltham, MA, USA, and belongs to its Integrated Defense System division (IDS, Tewksbury, MA).
