NextDocs to Join with Microsoft to Deliver “Simpler is Better” Seminar Series

Seminars Will Focus on the use of SharePoint in Life Sciences

January 7, 2008—NextDocs announced today that they will be joining with Microsoft to deliver a series of live, in-person seminar events across major US cites during the first quarter of 2009. These events will focus on the use of
NextDocs’ SharePoint-based Document and Quality Management Systems in life sciences companies.

The initial events in the series will take place in January 2009 at various Microsoft offices on the east and west coasts. The Microsoft office in Iselin, NJ will host the series kick off on January 13, 2009 followed by Malvern, PA on January 15, 2009.
The series moves to the west coast with events in Mountain View, CA on January 29, 2009 and San Diego, CA on January 30, 2009. A set of webinars and additional on-site events will follow in February and March.

Attendees will see and hear how NextDocs is delivering a comprehensive, compliant quality and document management solution based on Microsoft SharePoint. They'll hear speakers from Microsoft, NextDocs and select partners talk about how they are delivering on the promise of Compliance without Complexity with a SharePoint-based solution for both Document and Quality Management. Specific topics will include how SharePoint can address regulatory document management, CAPA, clinical documents, audit management, change control, deviations, employee training records, equipment, SOP management, complaint management and more.

According to Zikria Syed, the President and CEO of NextDocs, "We are very excited about these sessions. Attendees will be able to see exactly how companies are using NextDocs to implement 21 CFR Part 11 solutions much more quickly than is typical with traditional systems. They’ll see that by leveraging SharePoint’s familiar user interface and seamless integration with Microsoft Office they end up with faster deployments, less training, higher adoption rates and much lower costs."

Ken Lownie, Vice President of Life Sciences at NextDocs added "These events are proving very, very popular -clearly they are hitting the right topic at the right time. We find great interest in the whole "compliance without complexity" topic as life sciences companies wrestle with addressing compliance requirements in a time of very limited budgets."

Seating is limited to the first 50 individuals at each event. Individuals can register at http://www.nextdocs.com or directly for each event using the links below:
