Daniel Imperato and Webster Brooks 2008 White House Hopefuls

West Palm Beach, FL - Today - In his daily address, 2008 Presidential Candidate Daniel Imperato (www.daniel2008.com) called on the Bush administration to increase ties with Central and South America.

One of the first ways that the United States could improve relations in the region is economically, by dealing with emerging economies like Brazil.

"Once again I call on our administration to wake up and to look at our neighbors in South America and Central America. We need to aggressively move towards working with Brazil and its sugar plants, and align ourselves with the coming of ethanol fuels and the growth of the Brazilian economy based upon the ethanol's potential future," expressed Imperato.

Aside from economic issues, Imperato felt that poltical and governmental instability in the region could hurt American interests.

"Central and South America is in uproar. We are having many difficulties with leadership in the region. Our administration must immediately step up and mend the relations in countries like Bolivia, Columbia, Panama, Venezuela, and particularly in Ecuador. The USA and its administration must stand up immediately and embrace the leadership in Ecuador."

"the Central and South American countries are being shaken up and divided. Their ultimate goal is to be collectively collaborated which could become a detriment to the United States and its security."

Imperato also placed importance on the regime because of the large number of Spanish speaking citizens of the United States.

"I call out urgently to our leadership and the President to immediately act in reparing the relations with our South and Central American neighbors. It is vitally important to our security and our future. It is also respectful to the Spanish speaking people in the United States of America. We need to stand up to protect our second language, which is Spanish, and we need to protect our interests in South and Central America immediately," stated Imperato.

According to Imperato, the United States needs to do more, and he vowed to do so once he is president.

"When I become President of the United States in 2008, I will stand up and say that I will unconditionally mend relations in Central and South America, increase trade in the region, increase viability with the region, increase the jobs programs in the region, and make a friend and partner out of our neighbor instead of a negative relationship."

Imperato concluded his statement with his comments on the US neglect of the region.

"It must stop. It is time that the US must stand up and be a light to the world particularly to our neighbors in Central and South America. I feel that we are failing in these areas rapidly and I feel that this rapid failure could lead to more upcoming problems in the future."
