NorthPointe Resources’ Annual Fundraiser - a “Bigger ‘n Better” Success!!

[ZION, IL] NorthPointe Resources held their annual fundraising event “Blues ‘N Brew” on Saturday, June 17 at Viper Alley in Lincolnshire, IL. “This new, larger venue was chosen because last year’s event sold out in 11 days,” stated Dina Donohue-Chase, NorthPointe’s CEO. This year’s theme was “Bigger ‘n Better,” and it was just that. Approximately 250 guests enjoyed live music performed by Lloyd Stephens and the Brothers, scintillating appetizers and desserts, dancing, posting “selfies,” and participating in a variety of FUNdraising activities. Guests lined up to bid on auction items that included everything from hotel getaways to Cubs tickets. Back by popular demand was the sale of one-of-a-kind paintings and jewelry handcrafted by NorthPointe Resources program participants.

New this year was a very successful “Paddle Raising” donation opportunity and a “Thank You Wall” in which guests chose their favorite or lucky number from a board and made a donation in that amount to support various NorthPointe programs. “We did have envelopes left at the end of Blues ‘n Brew, so the fun will be continued with an extended Thank You Wall Raffle on our website,” said Dina Donohue-Chase. Raffle participants will be entered to win prizes including a 4-person round of golf valued at $400, and some lucky donors will automatically win additional thank you gifts after check-out.

Every year NorthPointe Resources holds an annual fundraiser to raise much needed funds for their mission: to support people living with intellectual disabilities and/or mental illness so they have the opportunity to live full, productive lives in the community.
