CEEOA expands into Poland
Established in October 2008, CEEOA aims to promote Central and Eastern European as a competitive alternative to other global offshoring destinations and to increase services delivery quality and volume under the recognised standards.
CEEOA operates as an independent professional body on a networking partnership basis, - its critical objective is to create, develop and communicate the positive image and main value proposition(s) of the CEE region as a competitive alternative to other global IT, business processes and manufacturing outsourcing destinations.
Poland is one of the largest markets for global ITES (IT Enabled Services) in the region with more than 100 global companies currently operating BPO and Shared Service Centers.
Speaking about membership of CEEOA, Andrew Hallam, President of ASPIRE said, “We believe CEEOA is an important vehicle to promote and develop opportunity in the IT & Business Process Services sector across the region.
CEE has come a long way in a very short space of time because the value proposition is excellent, with a mix of cost, capability and proximity to market. The challenge now is to keep improving quality and the key to this is sharing information - among companies in the sector and also with stakeholders in government and education.
CEEOA is an important partner in this and we are grateful to the founding members of CEEOA for inviting us to join them in taking up the challenge to grow the industry across the region.”
CEEOA is an open platform for all the organizations and business associations in the region who are willing to join it or to contribute to the accomplishment of its goals.
Central and Eastern European Outsourcing Association (CEEOA) (http://www.ceeoa.org) was founded in 2008. Baltic Outsourcing Association (BOA), Ukrainian HI-TECH Initiative, Hungarian Outsourcing Association (HOA), Employers’ Association of the Software and Services Industry (ANIS) from Romania and Bulgarian Web Association (BWA) became the founders of the association. One of the main objectives of CEEOA is to promote the Central and Eastern European Region as competitive alternative to other Global offshoring destinations, and to increase services delivery quality and volume under the recognized standards.
ASPIRE brings together companies operating in the Business Process Outsourcing & Shared Service Centre market in Poland. Among the services which ASPIRE provides to its members are Poland City Surveys to capture the BPO/SSC market; research and action planning on common issues which influence the IT & BPS business model and specialised training for the IT & BPS sector.
Established in November 2008, ASPIRE is based in Kraków which is the leading centre of IT and BPS in Central and Eastern Europe with more than 30 global companies operating in the sector employing 16,000 people.
