Basware Signs Vertex to Support Global Growth

Basware, the leading provider of financial process automation software, has announced a key partnership agreement with Vertex to further expand the distribution of its financial automation solutions.

This strategic appointment will see Vertex, a leading international provider of business process outsourcing (BPO) and technology services; distribute Basware’s Enterprise Purchase to Pay software either as a product or Software as a Service (SaaS).

Basware’s cost-efficient solutions integrate with multiple finance systems to streamline overall financial management, increase visibility and optimise approvals processes and controls.

Dale Shepherd, vice president and general manager of finance & administration products at Vertex said: “Vertex was searching for a world-class solution to enhance our own purchase to pay processes. We were so impressed with the Basware products that we signed as a global reseller. The addition of Basware clearly enhances our portfolio of products and services.”

Paul Sandford, channel manager at Basware UK added: “The Forrester Report recently indicated there would be strong growth in Software as a Service (SaaS), especially for invoice automation, and Vertex has the proven expertise and technical experience to deliver Basware products on a SaaS basis.

“Invoice Automation is one area where companies are looking to outsource in order to deliver cost savings and greater efficiency gains, and Vertex’s sector credentials means the company is well placed to maximise market opportunities.”
