LAS VEGAS, NV – October 16, 2008 ScripNet, a Las Vegas based nationwide pharmacy benefit manager (PBM) who contracts with workers’ compensation insurance carriers and pharmacies to ease the availability of prescription medications to injured workers, has been awarded second place among small businesses at the Best Places to Work in 2008 Awards Ceremony of the Southern Nevada Human Resources Association.

Entering its seventh year, SNHRM’s "Best Places to Work" awards program recognizes top Southern Nevada employers for innovative human resource practices and programs. Employees nominate their company as a Best Place to Work and a panel from other SHRM chapters anonymously judges the applications from Non-Profit, Micro, Small, Medium, Large, Gaming, and Government Organizations.

Years ago ScripNet instituted a profit-sharing program to make sure that everyone’s efforts were rewarded. Now, fifteen percent of ScripNet’s profits are bonused to staff on a quarterly basis.
