EMG Joins Partners Interwoven and Harrah’s at ’08 DAM Symposium
“Successfully Implementing DAM Across Multiple Platforms – The Harrah’s Experience” is among the first of the keynote presentations that will be delivered by Teasha Brunelle, Direct Marketing Manager of Harrah’s Entertainment, on Monday November 10th. In this presentation, Brunelle will highlight her organization’s success in teaming up with EMG and Interwoven to deliver brand consistency across its enterprise for its 12 brands through a custom-built DAM application that not only streamlines operational workflow but also supports higher user adoption.
On Tuesday, November 11th, the technology track presentation entitled “DAM is Not an Island in Your Digital Ecosystem: Navigating Your Choices Amidst the Chaos” will be presented by EMG Sr. Project Manager Kevin Lorenz and Interwoven Sr. Product Marketing Manager Michael Snow. Drawing from the successes of the Harrah’s Entertainment project, Lorenz and Snow will leverage the case study format to further engage with its marketing and technical audience.
“The focus of our presentation is how EMG can add value to a DAM implementation by leveraging our core strengths in research, analysis and ongoing optimization,” explained Lorenz. “By showing our innovative work with the Harrah’s Entertainment DAM portal, we hope to give other companies along with their stakeholders a better idea of how our skill sets can benefit their current or future DAM implementations.”
Additionally, EMG Managing Partner and Chief Visionary Officer Damien Navarro will wrap up the Symposium with the case study “Opportunities in the New Media We Spotted and How We Took Them.” Here, Navarro will draw from his experiences in working with highly regulated and bottom-line driven industries to underscore the importance of value innovation and planning. Also, he will emphasize the importance of fully understanding your resources and market in order to create new opportunities for your brand.

The conference will be held at the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel in Los Angeles, California. Over 75 Speakers from world-renowned brands and companies including Blizzard Entertainment, Wunderman, CMS Watch, Microsoft, NBC Universal, Sony Pictures Entertainment and Young & Rubicam Brands will provide briefings on DAM-related issues supported by case studies of real world performance at the DAM Symposium’s panel sessions and interactive presentations.
