At VoiceCon the voice compass editor Detlev Artelt will be available for interviews and meetings on October 14th.

The VoiceCon Conference and Exposition is coming to the Amsterdam RAI, 14–16 October 2008. Different topics like Unified Communications, UC Platforms or Mobile Enterprise take center stage at the conference. Among many leading experts, vendors and enterprise IT executives in the area of IP Telephony, Detlev Artelt will also take part to share his knowledge and experience. He is going to announce the next edition of his consultancy knowledge in book-form, the voice compass international, being released in spring 2009.

The emerging concept of Unified Communications links traditional messaging systems and conferencing tools with instant messaging, presence, video and collaboration. The combination of IP Telephony and Unified Communications promises to create a foundation for a whole new set of applications that will increase productivity and improve responsiveness to customers, partners and colleagues.

Detlev Artelt currently leads the German working group Unified Communications at the German “eco Verband”. Eco is a German Internet Business Association which represents and supports all enterprises that make commercial use of the Internet.

VoiceCon is the leading conference and exposition in North America for enterprise IP Telephony, Unified Communications and Converged Networks. VoiceCon attracts more than 11,000 enterprise IT and communications executives, along with equipment vendors, service providers and network operators, consultants and analysts, and over 200 exhibitors/sponsors. VoiceCon is designed to help deciding why, when and how to invest in the new IP technology, and how to leverage enterprise communications platforms for maximum advantage.
