S’Oglain Cosmetics selects LinQpay to Provide Mobile Payments

Press release from: LinQpay

LinQpay Inc., the world’s leading Mobile Payment Services provider for Direct Sales Organizations, has been selected by S’Oglain cosmetics as its exclusive Mobile Payment partner for its entire South African sales force.

S’Oglain, recognized as one of the world’s top brands for elegant and luxurious beauty products, will equip its entire field sales force with Mobile LinQ, enabling agents to submit orders and process payments real-time and in-field through their standard mobile phone.

The Mobile LinQ service is simple, quick and secure. The S’Oglain sales consultant simply accesses a Java application loaded on their mobile phone, they key in the order and card payment details and the entire transaction is then encrypted and transmitted to LinQpay via secure SMS for processing. The transaction is processed within seconds and once completed, an SMS payment receipt is sent to both the sales consultant and customer’s mobile phone for confirmation, providing real-time confirmation of transaction approval and order capture.

Ms Danela Vermeulen, S’Oglain National Sales Manager, comments “S’Oglain decided to implement the Mobile LinQ service, which allows our sales staff to capture and complete any form of transaction there and then, while the customer is standing in front of us. No more ‘I don’t have cash on me, can I pay later?’, or products delivered without paying.” Ms Vermeulen says, “We have found that about 90% of our consumers wish to pay via credit card. In the past we have lost sales or have had to follow up with calls, emails, SMS’s and so forth to confirm payment. We believe we are now in the right direction regarding our direct selling payment solution.”

Brandon Sandiford, COO of LinQpay comments, “We are very excited that S’Oglain has selected LinQpay as its integrated payments partner. S’Oglain clearly understands the benefits and business advantages to be gained from having the ability to place orders and process payments in field via mobile phone. By extending this level of sales automation to the entire sales force, S’Oglain decreases costs by speeding up fulfillment and delivery of product, increases sales by real-time in field collection of payment and increases customer satisfaction by easing the consumers buying experience.”
S’Oglain joins the growing number of DSO’s such as Tupperware and Aihu, who recognize the value of LinQpay’s mobile payment services. Increasingly DSOs of all sizes are turning to LinQpay to provide mobile services to their distributors and agents across differing channels and geography.
