CERAMITEC 2006 alongside the trade fair AUTOMATICA
16 - 19 May in Munich- Exhibitors and trade visitors benefit because CERAMITEC and AUTOMATICA are held simultaneously
- Entrance ticket valid for both trade fair events
In May 2006, CERAMITEC – the leading international trade fair for ceramics and powder metallurgy – will be presented in the east area of the Munich trade fair centre at the same time as AUTOMATICA 2006, 2nd International Trade Fair for Automation: Assembly – Robotics – Vision. On 16 - 19 May 2006, CERAMITEC will be showing the complete range of machinery, equipment, plant, processes and raw materials for ceramics and powder metallurgy. In the west area of the Munich trade fair centre, AUTOMATICA simultaneously presents an international product range in the core areas of assembly and handling technology, robotics, machine vision and associated technologies. As the first international trade fair to bring together all branches of the robotics and automation area under the same roof in an independent event, AUTOMATICA portrays the entire spectrum of automation and reflects complete chains of output. Under the slogan “Innovation and Solutions“, trade visitors will find specific solutions to further optimise their production processes as well as the latest trends and innovations.
Automation solutions which optimise production processes are an important factor in the ceramics industry too. At AUTOMATICA, exhibitors of CERAMITEC will thus find their partners in packaging and materials-handling technology and vacuum technology as well as suppliers of test and measuring systems.
The entrance ticket, which is valid for the two thematically connected trade fair events, represents a benefit for all participants because there are synergies for exhibitors and visitors of both events.
An additional advantage of CERAMITEC and AUTOMATICA is their international orientation. The two trade fair events take place in the heart of Europe at an exhibition location with an optimal transport infrastructure and excellent international air connections. In addition, the worldwide presence of Messe München and the internationally oriented exhibition concept of the two events ensures that visitors from strategically important business areas are addressed specifically.
Both trade fairs are forging ahead in terms of internationality. At CERAMITEC 2006, the proportion of exhibitors and visitors from abroad is again expected to exceed sixty per cent. In the year 2003, the last CERAMITEC was attended by around 25,000 trade visitors from 106 countries. And at AUTOMATICA 2006, exhibitors from all five continents will be present this time too.
With its product range, AUTOMATICA 2006 is aimed at users and developers of robotics and automation because this is a central subject for almost every sector – whether it be automobiles (OEM / suppliers), machine and plant construction, the metal-working industry, electrical engineering and electronics or, for instance, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, medicine, packaging and synthetics.
About CERAMITEC
CERAMITEC, 10th International Trade Fair for Machinery, Equipment, Plant, Processes and Raw Materials for CERAMICS and POWDER METALLURGY, will take place on the grounds of the New Munich Trade Fair Centre from May 16 to 19, 2006. CERAMITEC has developed into the world’s leading trade fair for the ceramic industry since its premier in 1974. The comprehensive supporting program provides an ideal overview of current trends and innovations in the ceramic market. Approximately 765 exhibitors from 41 countries and 25,000 visitors from 106 countries came in 2003. Exhibitor and visitor figures for CERAMITEC are checked by an independent auditor contracted by the Gesellschaft zur Freiwilligen Kontrolle von Messe- und Ausstellungszahlen (Society for Voluntary Control of Fair and Exhibition Statistics).
AUTOMATICA, International Trade Fair for Automation: Assembly, Robotics, Vision
AUTOMATICA is the international trade fair which combines every segment of robotics and automation under one roof. With effect from 2004, it will be held every 2 years at the New Munich Trade Fair Centre. It is an effective sales platform for the fields of robotics, materials handling and assembly technology, and machine vision. It is also an ideal marketplace for the manufacturers of related technologies. The main objective of the trade fair is to present the complete value-added chain. The industry-driven concept of AUTOMATICA was formulated by Messe München GmbH and the Robotics and Automation Association in the German Engineering Federation (VDMA), the professional and promotional supporter of the trade fair. The exhibitor and visitor numbers at AUTOMATICA are verified by an independent auditor on behalf of the Association for the Voluntary Control of Trade Fair and Exhibition Statistics (FKM).
