Execom adopts new software testing approaches
Along with HR growth EXECOM had introduced changes in company organizational structure. Teams have expanded and there was a natural need for establishment of separate departments. One very important team of software testers was formed at the beginning of the year.
At first, software testing was a part of development process where software developers have had the roles of testers. Tasks were being accomplished with high quality, but more complex projects demanded more serious approach. Independent, testing process was begun in 2005.
Today EXECOM has a separate team – testing department. Quality assurance engineers are gathered around all ongoing projects. Together with developers they improve the quality of deliverables during whole software lifecycle. Testing process is standardized and documenting process is performed in accordance with IEEE829 standard for software testing documentation.
The testing team is very flexible and keen on constant improvement. In order to remain competitive QAEs have begun to adopt Test Management Approach – T Map model as well as the Test Case Management Tool - Test Link.
With a serious approach and strong commitment they are surely headed the right way.
