Cochin, India, August 05, 2008: SysNucleus releases a new version of USBTrace, the USB protocol analyzer software. USBTrace is a cost effective replacement for expensive hardware based USB analyzers. The tool is used to debug, study and analyze the USB protocol.

The latest version USBTrace comes with support for USB device classes like audio, video and Wireless USB (WUSB). Device classes like human interface device, still image capture device, mass storage device, bluetooth, hub etc are already supported. Device class decoding provides more decoded information to engineers.

USB 1.x and 2.0 devices are supported by USBTrace. USB traffic at devices, hubs and host controllers can be sniffer using this tool. Supports Windows versions from Windows 2000 to Windows Vista.

USBTrace provides detailed data for WDM device driver developers. Data structures like URB, IRP, IO_STACK_LOCATION associated with each request is captured and displayed in easily readable format.
