Donate a Car, Get a Free Hotel Stay: DonateACar.io Thanks Every Donor
DALLAS, Texas - Mustard Farms Ministries has announced the donor thank-you for its vehicle donation program at DonateACar.io: every person who donates a vehicle receives a free hotel stay. The program is publishing the complete terms in plain language so donors know exactly what the thank-you includes before they give. The terms: the stay covers the room rate only - the donor pays taxes and fees. Donors must activate within 7 days of their donation and complete travel within 18 months. Guests must be 21 or older. Limit one stay per household per 12 months. The full terms are posted at https://donateacar.io/free-hotel-stay/, and donors are encouraged to read them before claiming.
The incentive sits alongside the program's core mission. Donated vehicles are processed by CARS, an established national vehicle-donation processor: free tow pickup, auction sale, and IRS Form 1098-C paperwork for qualifying sales over $500. Net proceeds support Mustard Farms Ministries' charitable programs, including commissary grants for incarcerated people. Those grants cover everyday essentials: soap, shampoo, hygiene items, writing paper, pens, and stamps.
Inside a prison, the commissary is the only store, and many incarcerated people have little or no money on their accounts. A bar of soap, a stamp for a letter home, paper and a pen for a class assignment - small items that the grant program puts directly into people's hands, funded one donated vehicle at a time.
The hotel stay is available to every qualifying donor, whether the vehicle is a daily driver with 200,000 miles or a boat that has not touched water in a decade. Cars, trucks, motorcycles, RVs, and boats all qualify, running or not. If it can be towed and auctioned, it counts - and the thank-you counts with it.
Donors begin at https://donateacar.io or by calling 855-500-RIDE (855-500-7433). A tow pickup is scheduled at the donor's convenience, and the donor signs the vehicle title over when the driver arrives.
The program serves donors across the United States, with an initial focus on Michigan and Texas. Michigan donors fund Michigan grants first: https://donateacar.io/michigan/
Donors considering the tax implications of a vehicle donation should consult their own tax advisor. The organization does not provide tax advice.
