ECA Staffer to Present at International Learning Conference
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The prestigious international 2008 World Conference on E-Learning extended an invitation to the Senior Vice-President of Academic Affairs at the Education Corporation of America (ECA). Dr. Ben Messaoud, the head of academics for ECA, has been asked to present a paper he co-authored entitled Exploring Virtual Worlds as a Method for Delivering Online Education.“The list of presenters at this conference is like a Who’s Who in delivery of curricula using today’s technology,” says Dr. Messaoud. “I am proud to be asked to represent our ECA colleges at this high-profile gathering.”
The conference, being held July 1 through July 4, serves as a multi-disciplinary forum for the exchange of information on research, development, and applications of all topics related to e-Learning in the corporate, government, health care and higher education sectors. Dr. Messaoud will discuss the use of Virtual World technology for education in an online platform that provides a dynamic and fun-learning environment designed to keep students engaged through interactive learning.
