HOOLIGAN Presents 'Anything Goes'

This April, HOOLIGAN Theatre Company is putting up the hit musical Anything Goes. HOOLIGAN's twelfth season will be also be graced by Footloose which will also run for one weekend only from April 14-16 at The Freud Playhouse in Macgowan Hall at UCLA. Anything Goes will run at the same location from April 21-23 with shows at 8pm. on Friday and Saturday and 2pm. on Saturday and Sunday. So mark your calendars now, because you do not want to miss out!
Anything Goes features music and lyrics by Cole Porter. The story follows Reno Sweeney, a nightclub singer, while she teams up on board the S.S. American with Public Enemy #13 Moonface Martin, and Billy Crocker to win over Billy's love, an engaged girl named Hope. You'll Get a Kick Out of these wacky characters who know that Anything Goes in love and war. This musical is certainly Easy to Love.
But this year, HOOLIGAN is challenging the status quo and producing even more must-see shows of the highest caliber. HOOLIGAN is proud to give any student an opportunity to participate in these "no-cut" shows where all who audition are cast.
Anything Goes will run from April 21-23, 2017 at The Freud Playhouse. Tickets are available through the UCLA Central Ticket Office at (310) 825-2101 or online at www.ticketmaster.com. General admission is $25, groups of 6 or more are $18 each, and UCLA Faculty and Staff tickets are $20. If you’re a UCLA student then you’re in luck! Your ticket is absolutely free! If you are a student from another college or high school campus, you may receive a special discounted price of $10 with a student ID. Enjoy the show!

HOOLIGAN Theatre Company is a student-run, non-profit organization that provides professional theatre experiences for college students of all majors in order to enrich the theatre community and give all students an opportunity to participate in every aspect (on and off stage) of theatre. Past sold-out performances include Pippin, Rent, The Wedding Singer, In the Heights, and Legally Blonde the Musical. In addition, HOOLIGAN operates an ArtsE department, through which UCLA students reach out and teach theater in local middle and high schools. Since 2006, HOOLIGAN has worked to raise artistic awareness and generate a larger thespian art community in the Greater Los Angeles area through performance and educational programs. Perhaps you have seen HOOLIGAN on stage at Pauley Pavilion, where their themed Spring Sing numbers blow the audience out of the water every year.
