The Kit Kat Klub is Opening in Westwood!

Meine Damen und Herren! Mesdames et Messieurs! Ladies and Gentlemen! HOOLIGAN Theatre Company is proud to present John Kander and Fred Ebb’s Tony Award-winning Musical Cabaret! HOOLIGAN’s thirteenth season kicks off in pre-war Berlin at the seedy Kit Kat Klub with Cabaret, which will run for two days only on November 17th and November 18th at Schoenberg Hall at UCLA.

Based off John Van Druten’s 1951 play I am a Camera, Cabaret tells the story of the provocative Sally Bowles and her American love, Cliff, as they try to make a life for themselves during trying times. Among Sally in the underground cabaret club is the Emcee, who oversees the action as the Master of Ceremonies. Also trying to find their place is boarding house owner Fraulein Schneider and her suitor, the Jewish fruit vendor Herr Schultz.

HOOLIGAN’s Executive Producers Amanda Faucher and Kiara Bryant stated that "Cabaret is a valuable and thought-provoking show in that it empowers audiences to take action when they see evil in the world rather than standing idly by. The theme of HOOLIGAN's 13th season is Empowerment and we look forward to bringing the message of socially responsible theatre to the UCLA campus."

Cabaret will run from November 17th to November 18th at Schoenberg Music Hall, UCLA. Tickets are available through the UCLA Central Ticket Office at (310)-825-2101 or online at www.ticketmaster.com. General admission is $25, groups of 6 or more are $18, non-UCLA students with ID are $10, UCLA Alumni, Faculty and Staff tickets are $20, and UCLA students enter free. Student tickets will be limited to one free ticket per Bruincard.
