TradeVision Expands AI Labs Prompt-Based Screening for Retail Market Research
TradeVision, a stock market research and analysis platform, has expanded AI Labs. This prompt-based screening feature allows users to search the market using plain-English descriptions instead of manually configured numeric filters.
Conventional stock screeners require users to know in advance which criteria to apply and at what thresholds. AI Labs takes a written prompt, such as a request for stocks trading above a moving average within a particular sector, and returns a list of matching candidates. The feature is aimed at shortening the time between forming an idea and producing a shortlist of names to examine.
Results are candidates, not signals
TradeVision states plainly that AI Labs output is intended as a starting point for research rather than as a set of trading signals.
Results returned by any natural-language screener require verification against the underlying chart data before they are acted upon. Prompts phrased with acronyms rather than full terms can be interpreted differently than intended, and a prompt filtered against a narrow watchlist can return no matches even when suitable candidates exist elsewhere in the market.
The company has published guidance covering how to write prompts that return usable results, including documented cases where prompts returned incomplete or incorrect matches, and how to identify them.
"AI Labs shortens the distance between an idea and a list of names to look at," a TradeVision spokesperson said. "It does not tell anyone what to buy, and every result still needs checking on the chart. That is the part of the process the tool cannot do for you."

Unusual options flow - options activity that stands out relative to normal volume

The platform is available on web, iOS and Android. AI Labs is currently accessible through the web interface, including mobile browsers.

TradeVision operates a single subscription plan priced at $24.99 per month, or $20 per month billed annually. There are no feature tiers; all functionality is included in the one plan. A seven-day free trial is available.
