Cloudification Partners with OSIE to Expand c12n OpenStack Cloud Platform

Berlin, August 18, 2026 - Berlin-based cloud infrastructure specialist Cloudification has announced a new partnership with OSIE, integrating OSIE's OpenStack dashboard and cloud management platform into its c12n private cloud offering. The collaboration adds customer-facing cloud management, billing, identity, and automation capabilities to c12n (https://cloudification.io/c12n-private-cloud/), supporting organizations operating OpenStack-based private and public cloud environments.

OpenStack provides the infrastructure foundation for building flexible cloud platforms, but organizations operating a cloud for multiple teams, customers, or business units often require additional capabilities for managing users, resources, billing, access, and cloud services. The integration of OSIE into c12n addresses this operational layer.

OSIE is designed for cloud service providers and enterprise private clouds and provides a modern management interface for OpenStack environments. Its capabilities include multi-OpenStack management, role-based access control, single sign-on, audit logging, REST APIs, and a flexible billing engine with per-minute resource metering. The platform also supports balances, invoices, discounts, promotional credits, and integrates payment providers.

For c12n users, the collaboration extends the platform beyond compute, networking, and storage infrastructure. Organizations can combine c12n's OpenStack-based cloud infrastructure with OSIE's management and billing capabilities, creating a complete production-ready environment for delivering cloud resources to internal users or external customers.

The partnership also reflects a broader development in the OpenStack ecosystem: organizations are increasingly using OpenStack not simply as a virtualization platform, but as the foundation for fully integrated cloud services. This requires technologies that connect infrastructure APIs with the operational, administrative, and commercial requirements of running a cloud.

OSIE is actively developed and provides support for current OpenStack releases. Its REST API also enables integration with external systems and automation workflows, allowing organizations to connect cloud management with existing IT and business processes.

The OSIE integration is now part of Cloudification's broader c12n offering, which combines OpenStack, Kubernetes, Ceph, GitOps automation, and cloud management technologies to support private, hybrid, and multi-cloud infrastructure environments.
