Burns Authors Column for Forbes About the Ascension of 'The Acquisition Entrepreneur'

Peter J. Burns, III, the founder and CEO of Burns Funding - an alternative lending company with a novel approach to helping clients obtain capital and then pay back their loans, has written another insightful column for Forbes Magazine.
His latest missive, which explores the ascension of "The Acquisition Entrepreneur," can be viewed here.
Burns, a serial entrepreneur and member of the Forbes Business Council, writes in the column that all existing entrepreneurs as well as those who endeavor to become one should consider "acquiring existing companies, investing alongside experienced operators or purchasing business models that already have customers, systems and, most importantly, revenue."
Burns has seen that trend firsthand at Burns Funding.
"Last year, we embraced a new strategy, where we secure the capital for our clients, then deploy some of their capital in a portfolio of passive investments," Burns said. "The passive investments produce income that helps us service the client's loan.
Burns highlighted some of the companies in that portfolio in his Forbes column, particularly Elite Automation, one of the nation's leading operators of eCommerce stores.

Burns finished his column by noting that he has "witnessed how the rise of the acquisition entrepreneur is changing the definition of business ownership and creating opportunities for investors who may never have considered themselves entrepreneurs.
