A Sensory Journey: Tastings at the Island Manufactory
For those who wish to discover the secrets behind the new malt whiskies and other spirits, the Island Manufactory at Morgenitzer Berg 8 is the ideal destination. Every Wednesday, the craft of distilling and roasting becomes tangible for visitors. From 3:30 PM to 4:20 PM, a professional coffee tasting invites guests into the world of hand-finished coffee and espresso specialties from the castle's own roastery. Immediately following, from 4:30 PM to 5:20 PM, a rum tasting including a distillery tour takes place. Here, guests have the opportunity to sample the four exclusive BALTIC ISLAND RUM varieties and gain insights into the production of these noble spirits.

A visit to Mellenthin Water Castle in August 2026 offers far more than just high-proof discoveries. The cultural program is enriched by special events such as the performance of the MSL Bigband on August 3, 2026, under the motto "Celebrate Good Times". Furthermore, until August 30, the popular Parktheater Edelbruch will be in residence, presenting almost daily new adaptations of the Brothers Grimm's fairy tales. This cultural richness is complemented by daily themed culinary events in the rustic brewery vaults starting at 6:00 PM. From the Medieval Knight's Buffet and the Pirate Spectacle to the Brewer's Evening and the Pomeranian Buffet, guests are guaranteed excellent entertainment and catering. With its own brewery, distillery, coffee roastery, and island workshop, it invites guests to stay, celebrate, unwind, and relax. The hotel, harmoniously integrated into the west wing of the complex, offers comfortable rooms furnished with an eye for detail, featuring modern and spacious bathrooms.
