HPWsoft Updates Fizzles Demo and Releases Music Video for "Guide the Fizzles Home"

Cologne, Germany - HPWsoft has released an updated version of the playable Fizzles demo on itch.io. The new version includes initial bugfixes for issues reported by the community after the release of the five-level demo. In addition, the music video for the Fizzles song "Guide the Fizzles Home" has been released on YouTube.

Fizzles is a mobile-first puzzle rescue game about small round creatures that need to be guided safely to the exit. The Fizzles walk on their own, while players assign abilities at the right moment, open paths, and solve each level step by step.

The current demo includes five handcrafted levels. Each level introduces a different ability: Digger, Floater, Blocker, Climber, and Planter. In addition, the demo includes player profiles, difficulty settings, progression systems, high scores, music, sound effects, and a browser-based web version.

Since the release of the five-level demo, Fizzles has been tested in various player and developer communities. The feedback covered controls, the readability of the symbol-based user interface, the behavior of the web demo on different devices, and individual issues in the early levels.

The updated version now available on itch.io includes initial bugfixes based on this feedback. This further stabilizes the public demo and keeps it as the current playable version of the project. Further community feedback will continue to be considered during development.

In addition to the updated demo, HPWsoft has also released the music video for "Guide the Fizzles Home". The song is intended to capture the warm and hopeful atmosphere of the Fizzles world: small creatures searching for a way together, overcoming obstacles, and safely finding their way home.

"The feedback on the demo is very valuable to us," explains HPWsoft. "It shows which parts of the game idea already work and where controls, UI, balancing, or level behavior can still be improved. That is exactly why this early demo is important."

The Kickstarter campaign for Fizzles is still running. It accompanies the next development phase of the game and is intended to support additional handcrafted levels, new abilities, UI and onboarding polish, mobile testing, audio and presentation improvements, and preparation for a first public mobile release.
