HPWsoft Launches Kickstarter Campaign for Fizzles with Playable 5-Level Demo

Cologne, Germany - HPWsoft is launching a Kickstarter campaign for Fizzles, a mobile-first puzzle rescue game about tiny round creatures that need help reaching the exit. A playable demo with five handcrafted levels is already available on itch.io.

Fizzles is a calm and fair puzzle game in which the little Fizzles walk on their own. Players guide them by assigning abilities at the right moment, opening paths, and solving each level step by step.

The current demo includes five playable levels. Each level introduces a different Fizzle ability: Digger, Floater, Blocker, Climber, and Planter. In addition, the demo already includes player profiles, difficulty settings, progression systems, high scores, music, sound effects, and a browser-based web version on itch.io.

With the Kickstarter campaign, HPWsoft aims to fund the next development phase of Fizzles. The goal is to build on the existing playable foundation and continue work on additional handcrafted levels, new abilities, improved onboarding, mobile UI polish, audio and presentation improvements, testing on different devices, and preparation for a first public mobile release.

"Fizzles is no longer just a concept. It is already available as a playable demo," explains HPWsoft. "With Kickstarter, we want to see whether players are interested in supporting this kind of calm puzzle rescue game and help fund the next concrete steps in development."

The campaign is intentionally small and transparent. The funding goal supports the next development step. Additional support allows more development time for handcrafted levels, mechanics, balancing, graphics, audio, testing, and polish.

Fizzles follows the HPWsoft philosophy: fair games with no ads, no tracking, and no account requirement. The Kickstarter rewards are also planned as digital-only rewards. There are no physical products, no shipping, no packaging, and no customs handling.

Depending on the reward tier, backers may receive Kickstarter updates, digital thank-you rewards, a name credit, and possible early browser access to preview builds via itch.io. The public demo remains freely available.
