IFAT CHINA, which this year takes place from 23 to 25 September 2008 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, is again featuring an extensive, top-quality accompanying program. In addition to technical and scientific conferences, there will be theme specials, exhibitor presentations and B2B matchmaking for exhibitors.

A highlight in the accompanying program are the technical and scientific conferences, focusing on the subjects of water supply, sewage, solid waste, air and renewable energy. The organizers are the German Association for Water, Wastewater and Waste (DWA) and the China Association of Resources Comprehensive Utilization (CARCU).

In the Environment Special, which is being organized in cooperation with the Bavarian State Ministry of the Environment, Public Health and Consumer Protection, experts and government authorities will be presenting the environmental initiatives and technology of the Bavarian Ministry and its partners.
The Asia Special provides visitors with background information and facts on the Asian environmental market and a perspective on possible cooperations between China, Japan, South Korea and Vietnam on environmental issues and problems. This special is being organized in cooperation with the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety.

In addition there will again be exhibitor presentations at which the exhibitors at IFAT CHINA 2008 have the opportunity of showcasing their latest solutions, products and services to the trade visitors.

Exhibitors can also make use of the B2B matchmaking initiative, to arrange meetings with potential business partners. This event is being organized by the International Technology Cooperation Network of the AiF – German Federation of Industrial Cooperative Research Association – in cooperation with the Delegation of German Industry and Commerce.

The accompanying program at IFAT CHINA 2008 is thus again serving key players and trade visitors as an ideal platform for exchange of information, innovations and new solutions for the environmental sector.
