A leading private direct marketing service provider in Austria is now working with the geomarketing and GIS solutions of MapChart.com.

An extensive agreement could be reached in October 2005. As the first Austrian service company in the field of letterbox distribution services for private households, trade and industry REDMAIL is investing in the latest technology of web based geomarketing for entire Austria.

At once the redmail™ LOGISTIK & ZUSTELLSERVICE GMBH is using the broad set of functions of the online GIS platform MapChart.com, providing besides planning of household distributions additional value added services with a spatial relation for its customers. „By using innovative geomarketing methods and the appropriate technology of the MapChart Geomanager we strengthen our claim for the market leadership in Austria“, Bernd Kirisits (CEO of REDMAIL in Vienna) mentioned. Further more he is planning to introduce a second MapChart application, the MapChart Webport, to provide additional spatial information for his customers and visitors of the REDMAIL homepage. Hans C. Marcher, CEO of MapChart GmbH, added: „For the MapChart GmbH the introduction of the MapChart Geomanager in Austria is another step in the internationalization of our services and solutions. Europe is our main target market.“ The company, recently founded in April 2005, owns already a growing customer base in its core market area Germany, in Spain and now in Austria.
