Mixvoip integrates Microsoft Teams with its managed Direct Routing platform in less than 15 minutes. The entire telephony layer, including session border controllers, routing, security, and monitoring, is operated by Mixvoip. Customers enable calling in Teams without deploying infrastructure or handling voice-specific complexity.
Direct Routing is often perceived as complex due to the presence of SBCs and advanced routing concepts. In a managed architecture, these elements are abstracted from the customer. Deployment, supervision, and lifecycle management are automated and handled by a dedicated team of Microsoft-certified experts.
Operator Connect is frequently positioned as a simpler alternative. While it centralises number assignment in the Microsoft Teams admin center, it does not remove the need for Microsoft licensing, operator contracts, pricing discussions, or Teams telephony expertise. Commercial terms, pricing, and service conditions remain defined by each operator.
By combining Microsoft Teams with a managed Direct Routing service, organisations retain architectural flexibility, international coverage, and cost control, while keeping administration focused on Microsoft Teams itself.
