Press release from: Axiom IT Solutions

Seamless messaging between Microsoft Teams and Whatsapp & Wechat.
Corporate Messaging on a single Teams platform & 100% Cloud Solution.

5 August 2021, Singapore – Axiom IT Solutions Pte Ltd launched its Teams Connector Messaging Cloud service (TC Messaging) in Singapore and the region. This cloud service enables Microsoft Teams users to send/receive chat messages to/from Whatsapp and Wechat.

Since the beginning of Covid-19, hybrid work environment has become the norm. The mode of engagement and interactions with customers has changed. Besides online meetings, there is an increase in the use of social messaging apps, such as Whatsapp & Wechat, for communications with customers and partners. But not all organizations are comfortable with this, as many have concerns over their lack of traceability, officiality and security, especially for business matters.

Axiom’s TC messaging solution bridge this gap. Over the past months, many organizations have adopted Microsoft Teams as their corporate collaboration tool for messaging and calling. However, natively, Microsoft Teams users can only send messages to another Microsoft Teams User. Our solution provides a bridge between Microsoft Teams and Whatapp & Wechat, enabling messaging across different messaging platforms. Our customers who are on Microsoft Teams can now communicate with their clients who are on Whatsapp/Wechat.

“Axiom IT Solutions has been supporting our customers with Work from Home solutions since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic. We provide Enterprises and SMEs with Teams calling solutions, remote working laptop with collaboration solutions, video conferencing and cybersecurity solution etc. One of the requests that stood out was corporate messaging to their clients. Bosses feel uneasy about their employees using social messaging tools as a form of communication with their customers as it is unsecured and lacks business identity. It is analogous to using private email vs corporate email for business matters.” says Mr. Lam Pang Ngean, Director at Axiom IT Solutions Pte Ltd. “Many of them have already invested in Microsoft Teams, so it is natural that their employees continue to use Microsoft Teams as their standard corporate tool, while we enable their Microsoft Teams to message their customers or partners who are using Whatsapp/Wechat. Our customers are excited about our solutions as we bridge the gap in their operations, aligning their corporate IT direction and leverage on existing investments.”

Axiom Teams Connector Messaging is a great complement to Microsoft Teams. With this addition to our Axiom Teams Connector suite of services, customers can enjoy a full suite of integrated cloud solutions including Axiom Teams Connector for PSTN Calling, Messaging, Compliant Recording and Call Center, on their Microsoft Teams.

Businesses can now further enhance their Microsoft Teams investment with our value-added services to complete their business needs for hybrid working. A single solution for complete business needs.

Axiom IT Solutions Pte Ltd is a Gold Partner of Microsoft and a multiple award winner of Microsoft Awards. It includes Microsoft Cloud (O365) Partner of the year for Asia Pacific Region (2013), Singapore (2013 & 2014), cloud package solution partner of the year in Singapore (2017), and Microsoft Partner of the Year 2020 for industry – SME (Singapore).

We have been delivering Microsoft Office 365 related services including consultancy, email migration, SharePoint, Skype for Business and Teams implementation, training and support.
