Power Couple Launches "Happy Habits Events" After Best of Philly

Philadelphia, PA - December 17, 2024

After winning Best of Philly in 2021, losing their wellness business to the pandemic, and surviving multiple partnership collapses and financial setbacks, Zajé and Seafus "S. Music" Richardson are launching Happy Habits Events - a celebration-focused event series redefining nightlife for conscious adults who've outgrown the club scene but aren't ready to settle in and stay home on a weekend night.

Happy Habits Events combines intentional music curation, premium atmosphere, and authentic community connection for adults 21+ who want transformation through joy - not trauma. Think: boutique hotel lounge sophistication meets dance party energy, with wellness retreat intentionality.

"We spent years looking for spaces that felt ELEVATED but AUTHENTIC - where we could dance, connect, and celebrate without compromising who we are," Zajé explains. "When we couldn't find them, we decided to create them. Together."

Zajé is an author (Happy Habits, available on Amazon), transformation coach, and performing artist featured on Shopify's "WTF" series (2021). Seafus "S. Music" is a DJ and music producer whose music was signed for sync licensing deals in 2024.

"This is Conscious Celebration - where joy meets transformation," says Zajé. "We're building a movement for people who refuse to choose between fun and wellness."

Event: Saturday, January 10, 2025, 9PM-2AM at Harrah's Philadelphia in Chester, PA.
Tickets: $50+ at www.happyhabitsevents.com

Media Contact: Zajé Richardson | zrichardson@mhillgroup.com | Instagram: @richardsonzaje
Sponsorship opportunities available starting at $500.

About

If you've ever thought "I'm too old for clubs but too young to just stay home" - Happy Habits Events is for you.

Happy Habits Events is a celebration-focused event series redefining nightlife for conscious, accomplished adults who've outgrown the traditional club and bar scene but aren't ready to stop the music or the fun.

Founded by Philadelphia-based entrepreneurs Zajé and Seafus "S.Muzic" Richardson, Happy Habits Events creates the in-between space that doesn't exist - where elevated individuals can dance, connect, and celebrate without compromising their values, standards, or well-being.

What We Offer

Happy Habits Events produces premium experiences that combine:
Intentional Music Curation: S.Muzic blends genres to create immersive sonic journeys aligned with intentional energy (no random playlists, no autopilot DJing)
Premium Atmosphere: Boutique venues, elevated production, Instagram-worthy environments designed for adults who appreciate quality
Authentic Community: Safe, inclusive spaces where conscious individuals can show up fully as themselves - no performative wellness, no superficial networking, just real connection
Joy-Based Transformation: We believe celebration IS medicine. Our events prioritize joy, movement, and presence - not trauma processing or "fix yourself" messaging

Who Attends Happy Habits Events
Our community is made up of:

- Adults 30-55 (all genders welcome, some events are 21+ only)
- Conscious, elevated individuals who prioritize wellness, personal growth, and authentic experiences
- Professionals, entrepreneurs, creatives with disposable income ($75K-250K+ annually)
- People who want to dance and celebrate without drama & unsafe nightlife
- Communities underserved by traditional wellness (especially Black, diverse, and culturally conscious attendees who want elevated experiences without boring wellness culture)

Our Story

Zajé and Seafus Richardson are a power couple who've rebuilt their lives and their dreams - multiple times.
Zajé is an entrepreneur, author (Happy Habits, available on Amazon), transformation coach, and performing artist. Her wellness retail store won Best of Philly and she was featured on Shopify's "WTF Is" series in 2021. She's collaborated with Grammy-winning artists, has music signed for sync licensing, and is currently pursuing a degree in psychology while raising 3 sons.
Seafus is a DJ, music producer, and corporate professional whose music was signed for sync licensing deals in 2024. He has over 3 decades of experience curating sound for private events, clubs, and branded experiences.
Together, they've weathered pandemic closures, financial setbacks, and partnership collapses - and emerged with a clear mission: Create the celebration spaces they couldn't find for themselves.
"We spent years looking for places that felt elevated AND authentic; where we could dance, connect, and celebrate without compromising who we are," Zajé explains. "When we couldn't find them, we decided to create them."

Why Happy Habits Events Matters Now
Post-pandemic, 61% of adults report feeling lonely (Harvard Making Caring Common Project, 2023), and 84% prioritize wellness but struggle to access it affordably (McKinsey Global Wellness Survey, 2024).
Meanwhile, the global wellness economy has reached $6.8 trillion, growing at 7.3% annually - but most offerings either exclude diverse communities (too expensive, too white-centered) or cater to younger, substance-heavy nightlife crowds.

Happy Habits Events fills the gap for people who want:
- Elevated experiences (not generic nightlife)
- Authentic community (not transactional networking)
- Wellness-aligned celebration (not clubs OR boring meditation retreats)

Our Vision: Building a Movement
2025 (Year 1): Establish Happy Habits Events in Philadelphia Tristate and DMV metro area with monthly experiences (8-12 events/year)
2026-2027: Expand to NYC and other metro areas; introduce signature retreats & multi-day experiences
2028-2030: Franchise or license Happy Habits Events to producers in 10+ cities; become THE brand for conscious celebration

"We're not just hosting events," Seafus says. "We're building a movement for people who refuse to choose between fun and wellness, and want to celebrate themselves."

Sponsorship & Partnership Opportunities
Happy Habits Events partners with brands that align with our values: wellness, celebration, authenticity, and community. Sponsorship packages start at $500 and include logo placement, booth space, social media features, and direct access to our conscious, affluent audience.
