Press release from: Aphos GmbH

Firewalls24.de offers up to 25% discount on Sophos Access Points with WiFi 6E. (© Aphos GmbH / Firewalls24)

A new Wi-Fi access point offer is now available on Firewalls24.de, the purchasing platform for Sophos IT security solutions. Organizations that are modernizing their WLAN infrastructure and upgrading to Wi-Fi 6E will receive up to 25% discount on hardware when purchasing the Sophos AP6 420E and AP6 840E models. The promotion is aimed at companies, authorities and public institutions.

Conditions of the access point offer at a glance

The offer offers a discount scale depending on the purchase quantity and requires the simultaneous purchase of valid support:

* 15 % discount on the purchase of 1-5 devices
* 25% discount from 6 devices
* Prerequisite: Only valid in combination with a support subscription (12 months or more) or MSP Flex Support
* Promotion period: Up to and including March 31, 2026

Technological advantages of the Sophos AP6 Wi-Fi 6E series

The Wi-Fi 6E models of the Sophos AP6 series also use the 6 GHz band and thus offer decisive advantages over older Wi-Fi 5/6 solutions:

* Up to 30% more performance
* Less interference in busy networks
* Future-proof due to wider channel availability

Typical application environments are schools, offices, government sites or production facilities - wherever many devices require a stable connection at the same time.

Relevance for organizations with APX access points

Many organizations are still using Sophos APX access points that are due for end-of-life (EOL) in the coming years. The current discount offer provides the opportunity to tackle the upcoming technology change at an early stage. By switching now, you not only benefit from modern technology, but can also avoid EOL-related risks such as security or compatibility problems.

The Sophos EOL calendar on Firewalls24.de provides a complete overview of all relevant product lifetimes.

Sophos AP6: Centralized management & easy scaling

The AP6 models with WiFi 6E can be fully integrated into Sophos Central Wireless. This allows professional networks to be centrally managed across multiple locations, access points to be segmented and WLAN infrastructures to be expanded in a future-proof manner - a clear advantage, especially in heterogeneous networks.

WIFI consulting & project support from Firewalls24

The Firewalls24.de team provides support in the selection of suitable models and in the planning of replacement or expansion projects. Organizations benefit from personal advice on the scaling, integration and long-term use of access points in the context of their existing IT architecture.
