CCM expands its portfolio: New high-performance sealant "646 Permanent Protect" available

This new coating closes the gap between ultra-thin coatings with a layer thickness of around 100 nm and classic industrial coatings from around 1 µm. With a typical coating thickness of approx. 500 nm, 646 combines the advantages of both worlds: It is virtually invisible, does not affect the appearance of the coated surface and still offers exceptionally high resistance.
Technical properties
The coating is heat-resistant up to 600 °C, resists aggressive chemicals, UV radiation and mechanical abrasion. This makes it ideal for surfaces that are used in industrial or harsh environments. It can be applied to metal, glass, plastic and painted surfaces.
Wide range of applications
646 Permanent Protect is particularly suitable for vehicle construction, where components need to be protected against stone chipping, salt and chemicals, for the maritime sector with its high corrosion requirements and for public spaces as an anti-graffiti coating. The sealant can also contribute to more hygienic and durable surfaces in the food and chemical industries.
