FieldBots appoints Rainer Kenter to its advisory board
Marbach am Neckar, July 25, 2025 - FieldBots GmbH announces that Rainer Kenter, long-time industry innovator and technology-driven entrepreneur, has joined the company's advisory board. The appointment is initially set for a period of at least two years.Kenter brings decades of experience and deep technical insight, particularly in cleaning technology and robotics, to the strategic development of FieldBots. His role will go far beyond traditional advisory functions. He will represent FieldBots at industry events, support the company in product and service development, and contribute to sales-related topics.
"Rainer Kenter has always been a mentor to me personally, and one of the few who shared their knowledge and perspective without commercial interest," says Alexander Feil, CEO of FieldBots. "I'm very pleased that this long-standing source of inspiration and friendship has now become a formal advisory role. FieldBots has a clear vision for manufacturer-independent fleet management and the use of microbots. With Rainer Kenter, we've gained an advisor who not only shares that vision but lends it weight."
The collaboration builds on a relationship that has grown over many years. Kenter has already contributed to joint pilot projects and innovation initiatives - informally, but with lasting impact. Many practical features and ideas within FieldBots trace back to his input, including simplified robot onboarding processes and better integration of machines into facility networks.
"I'm excited to support a young and innovation-driven company like FieldBots," says Rainer Kenter. "My focus will be on product and sales, where I see the greatest opportunity to shape the future of the industry. It's also a personally rewarding way to stay connected to the market - with full conviction, but without the pressure of day-to-day operations."
With this appointment, FieldBots reaffirms the importance of the German-speaking market. Despite its rapidly growing international presence, Germany remains a home base, proving ground and source of ideas for the company.
