Lead School JMA organizes BITS Pilani Faculty Dr Jagat Challa Talk on Artificial Intelligence

Smt. JMA invites experts from top raking institutions which include Banasthali Vidyapith, BITS and Oxford University Press India to conduct various Teacher Quality Enhancement Workshops. On July 26, 2025, a seminar on Artificial Intelligence was organized at Smt. Jamuna Mishra Academy, Pilani. The seminar aimed to enhance teaching methods for teachers through various applications. Conducted by Professor Dr. Jagat Shesh Challa from Pilani campus of BITS, the session focused on leveraging Artificial Intelligence to improve teaching skills.

Dr Challa holds a double Masters in Information Systems and Software Systems apart from PhD from BITS Pilani. He has also been a Post-Doctoral Researcher at highly acclaimed Northwestern University, USA. He in addition is a Founding Member and Incharge of BITS Pilani Postman API and Coding Innovation Lab. Dr. Challa explained how AI can support teachers and enhance their teaching abilities. The school's Principal, Mrs. Booma Natarajan, expressed gratitude to Dr. Challa for the valuable insights and presented him with a memento."
