CCM launches 646 Permanent Protect - A New Generation

Overath, July 2025 - CCM GmbH has expanded its portfolio of Liquid Glass high-performance coatings with the launch of 646 Permanent Protect. This innovative coating bridges the gap between ultra-thin nano coatings (~100 nm) and conventional industrial coatings (>1 μm), offering a typical layer thickness of approx. 500 nanometers.

Designed for professional and industrial use, 646 Permanent Protect forms a ceramic-based, transparent protective layer that provides strong resistance against chemicals, abrasion, UV radiation, and high temperatures (up to 600 °C). It is ideal for smooth, non-absorbent surfaces such as metal, glass, plastics, and painted materials.

The coating can be applied by wiping or spraying and features open diffusion characteristics, making it suitable for both indoor and long-term outdoor use.
