Amy Wolff Interiors Recognized for Creating Innovative Window Treatments for Luxury Homes

SCOTTSDALE, AZ, July 22, 2025- Amy Wolff Interiors is gaining industry recognition for creating innovative window treatment solutions for its work with luxury homes. The firm, achieving a first-place award from Vision Magazine in Outdoor Shading and Design, is featured in an ad campaign from supplier Helser Brothers, a drapery rod manufacturer, and has secured project work for many high-end residences.

"The award was for creating outdoor draperies that could withstand the harsh sun and wind. We had to consider the weight of the fabric, two 14-foot-wide sections of drapery, outdoor-rated drapery rods, and rings that moved effortlessly," Wolff said. "It became a perfect installation on natural stone walls."

Another project involved frameless windows. They were at odd angles, creating large light gaps between the shades since there were no window frames for blocking. "Clever engineering allowed us to minimize the gaps and provide a pleasing look while accomplishing maximum sun control," said Wolff. "In addition, there was a curved staircase that did not have a landing between levels. This required serious engineering to set up ladders for safe installation."

According to Wolff, curved walls also provided multiple challenges. Cornices for these require precise templating and fabrication. For her client, Wolff created 14-foot rigid boards upholstered in faux black leather. Expert installation and transport logistics were required.

"We have also done large, motorized draperies with over 100 pounds of fabric and worked with arched windows for sun blocking and privacy. Our firm creates solutions in line with custom luxury and functionality, all while maintaining the value of the home."
