Maxim launches affordable freight transportation: Bakkie rate, prices from 40 rands
The Maxim ride-hailing service is introducing a new rate called Bakkie. The rate is set to revolutionize the freight transportation market: with it, users will be able to book cargo vehicles at the price of a regular ride-hailing car ride. With a minimum price of 40 rands per booking, the service now offers some of the most affordable options for relocation, as well as for delivering furniture or construction materials.
"Before we introduced our new rate, ordering freight transportation was expensive and complicated," says the head of a Maxim unit, Quinten De kock. "But now anyone can do it in just a few taps in our app, and for a price similar to that of a car ride."
The new Bakkie rate has a range of significant advantages. Users can place their transportation orders through a mobile app quickly and easily, and, thanks to online GPS tracking, they always know where their goods are. Maxim is an all-day, every-day service, which helps maximise its affordability. What's more, users have access to a variety of convenient payment options: cash, bank card or direct transfer via PayShap.
Maxim prioritizes transparency: app users can track the location of the lorry and see the final transportation price right away.
This rate is available in all of the cities where Maxim operates: Bloemfontein, Cape Town, East London, eMalahleni (Witbank), George, Gqerberha (Port Elizabeth), Kimberley, Klerksdorp, Mbombela, Middelburg, Mossel Bay, Newcastle, Pietermaritzburg, Polokwane (Pietersburg), and Potchefstroom.
This new step enables Maxim to offer a more convenient and economical freight transportation option for a wide range of users.
