Press release from: Coral Springs Regional Chamber of Commerce

Coral Springs, Fla (December 5, 2016) -- The Coral Springs Regional Chamber of Commerce has launched a community building service called Chamber for Good that allows local charities to increase their visibility within the community. Chamber For Good works to assist the Chamber to reach out to the many outstanding nonprofits that make a difference in our community by helping them to achieve their goals.

The Chamber for Good tool allows residents of our community to view local charitable needs posted by local charities sorted into three areas: financial, volunteer, and goods and items needed. All local charities that fit the eligibility guidelines have the ability to create a public profile on the Chamber for Good site, then post needs in the three areas as they arise.

The Coral Springs Regional Chamber of Commerce’s next Chamber for Good meeting will explain how small businesses and non-profits can work together to put the spotlight on charitable, not for profit organizations whose objectives are to enhance our community and its citizens. The event will be open to all non-profits and businesses that serve non-profits (not just chamber members).

“This program allows us to connect our residents and businesses and strengthen our community in a way that we haven’t been able to do before”, explained Cindy Brief, President and CEO of the Coral Springs Regional Chamber of Commerce. “Our goal is to help nonprofits raise awareness and money needed. By leveraging the support of our businesses we will be able to make a difference in our community, which is what we always strive for.”
Residents are encouraged to go to the Chamber for Good website and enter their email address toward the bottom of the home page. In doing this they will be notified once per week, by email, of the local needs that exist among the charitable organizations and causes that operate within our community.

###
