The cockerel nearing completion in the workshop

The artist Susanne Palencia Molina has been working together with her colleague from kleinplastik.com to produce a 1.6-meter cockerel sculpture for the city of Frankfurt-Oder. The cockerel, being the city’s emblem, will be the focal point of a project to reinvigorate the city’s pride. The plan is to present multiple uniquely painted editions of the sculpture throughout the city. The idea has already received support from the city’s Mayor, local business and educational institutions, and from private citizens.
The planned delivery for the first cockerels is the middle of April. Various events promoting the project are planned in the next months leading up to the “Grand Opening” in the summer.
