Rap Artist Twizm Whyte Piece Adds Rhyme to Irene Michaels "My Heart"
The song has recently catapulted Irene Michaels to award winning status in the BroadwayWorld Cabaret NY Awards as "Best Indie Artist" for "My Heart", a follow-up to her multi-award winning song "I Like Rain." Her hit "I Like Rain" earned her Best Song of the Year at the Josie Music Awards 2023 and at the Get Out Magazine Awards 2023. She also performed "I Like Rain" during the 40th Anniversary of the United Nations International Peace Day and Climate Week at Times Square. That earned her another 2025 BroadwayWorld award for her "Special Events" performance at "Pause The World For Peace."
Twizm Whyte Piece also known as Alexander Sanders is a multi-award, winning hip-hop entertainer, creator of the brand #TwpNation and host to Fcr247 radio station. He is a master lyricist and has been featured in many publications and radio/TV shows. His father committed murder when Twiz was just three years old, leaving him to end up with his mentally insane and criminally convicted mother. After being released to the state, he would become caught up in a 14 year criminal life as a wanna be gang member selling drugs, guns and various other things. Getting out of the life, all turned out well for him finally and he is the proud owner of 16 albums, 22 singles and 1 million streams proving that anyone can change and make something out of their lives.
Irene on the other hand began her life in the entertainment industry at 11 years old as a dancer. She has, since become an actress, (General Hospital, Home Alone 2, Killer Klowns from Outer Space), author, award-winning, equestrian, influencer, model, and now singer/songwriter doing House Music at age 79.
The collaboration of two people from different worlds and genres is not only a success, but nearly a miracle.
