Accord University and Team University Forge Strategic Partnership to Advance Higher Education

In a landmark move aimed at transforming the landscape of higher education, Accord University (AU) of Somalia and Team University (TU) of Uganda have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to collaborate on innovative academic programs, research initiatives, and student and faculty exchanges. The agreement was signed on January 30, 2025, in Kampala, Uganda, marking a significant milestone in cross-border educational collaboration.
A Partnership Built on Innovation and Excellence
The partnership between Accord University and Team University is designed to foster academic excellence and create new opportunities for students and faculty. Key areas of collaboration include:
• Joint Academic Programs: Development of innovative distance learning programs in Humanities, Business, and Applied Sciences.
• Research Initiatives: Collaborative research projects to address global challenges and contribute to knowledge creation.
• Student and Faculty Exchanges: Facilitating enriching exchange programs to promote cultural and academic diversity.
• Conferences and Workshops: Co-hosting impactful academic events to share knowledge and best practices.
Under the agreement, students enrolled in the programs will be admitted by Team University and will receive globally recognized qualifications while benefiting from the support and resources of both institutions.
A Commitment to Accessible Education

Team University will oversee the academic programs, including online orientations, study packs, and supervised examinations, while Accord University will provide local support and facilities for students.
